Services

Our church is an extended family of Christians from all traditions and backgrounds drawn together by a common desire to follow Jesus, to learn from the Bible, to support each other and to serve the community.

No matter what your background or church experience, we would love for you to come and visit us.  Everyone is welcome whether you’ve been going to a church for years, never been to a church or you’re just interested in finding out more about being a Christian.

The Sunday morning service starts at 11:00 am.
What to expect

When you arrive you will be welcomed at the door by a church member who will hand you either a hymn book or a sheet with that services songs on it.

Our format is simple and the Minister or worship leader will give clear instructions when to stand or sit and nothing will come as a surprise.  There will usually be four hymns sung over the course of the service, some prayer times and of course in keeping with presbyterian tradition 20 to 30 minutes of preaching.

The children join us near the end and, when the service finishes, we move into the Scots Hall for tea or coffee together.  We don't assume that everyone knows what to do, so don't worry about that - you can relax, and we'll 'walk' you through it. The whole service lasts about an hour.

What should I wear?

We are far more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. Dress how you feel comfortable and you’ll fit right in!

Communion Services

We join together in communion six times a year.  One each quater and one in the run up to Christmas in a morning services.  Then we have one communion service during the evening service held on Good Friday.

Parking

We have space for cars to park in the church property and in the school property.  Lots of free parking in Howth road.

What about my kids?

We run a Sunday school during the morning services for children upto 12 years of age.

We do have an informal programe for teenagers and young adults that holds events normally on weekends.
